Corpus Christi, TX – The Corpus Christi Museum of Science and History proudly announces its upcoming Geek Gala, an elegant evening of discovery and celebration, to be held on Thursday, September 18, from 5:30 PM to 9:00 PM

The Geek Gala will transport guests on a journey through science and history, featuring artifacts from the Ice Age to the Space Age. Highlights of the evening include the presentation of rare Pleistocene mammoth bones, the museum’s whimsical “Fiji mermaid,” live insect demonstrations, and a captivating science show exploring fire, ice, and electricity. Guests will also enjoy a preview of the museum’s new Drop-In Innovation Lab and interactive “Museum on the Road” traveling trunks.
Dinner will be provided by the Corpus Christi Mustangs, with themed cocktails available at the cash “Space-bar.” A live DJ will set the atmosphere with music that bridges the prehistoric to the futuristic.
Attire for the evening is gala formal, though guests are encouraged to add a creative twist with attire inspired by science, nature, or history.
Complimentary glitter and hair embellishments will be available on-site.
