Conquer The Coast

About

2026 Ride:
Saturday, Sept. 19
Conquer the Coast (CTC) is an annual bike ride held by the United Corpus Christi Chamber Foundation, a 501 (c)(3) organization. Typically held on the 3rd Saturday of September, this event has remained a fan favorite since its inaugural 2004 ride.
Catering to riders of all skill levels, CTC offers 3 ride options to accommodate both beginners and seasoned cyclists; “66” miles, 21 miles, & 10 miles.
More than just a ride, Conquer the Coast is a celebration of health, wellness, and active living along the Texas Gulf Coast. Whether you ride to challenge yourself, improve your fitness, spend time outdoors, reduce stress, or create memories with friends and family, CTC encourages participants to prioritize both physical and mental well-being through movement and community connection.
From first-time riders to experienced cyclists, Conquer the Coast inspires people of all ages to set goals, stay active, and embrace a healthier lifestyle one mile at a time.

Ride Options
10 Mile
The 10 mile ride is a leisurely ride down Ocean Drive. Beautiful homes on one side and the scenic views of the bay on the other side. It’s perfect for less experienced riders, younger riders and families. It’s long enough to push yourself without overdoing it and getting to enjoy some quality time with your family.
21 Mile
The 21 mile ride is for those looking to push themselves a little. This ride will take you the entire length of Ocean Drive past the Island University of Texas A&M University-Corpus Christi and near the gates of Naval Air Station Corpus Christi. It’s perfect for intermediate level riders using comfort bikes, hybrids or mountain bikes.
“66” Mile
The “66” mile ride is for those who are seasoned veterans on two wheels. This ride will take you on a tour through the entire coastal bend area. From downtown Corpus Christi through over the New Harbor Bridge, Portland, Ingleside, Aransas Pass, Port Aransas and all the way back around to downtown Corpus Christi, it is safe to say this route is not for the faint of heart.

2026 Jersey
Commemorating America’s 250th birthday with a tribute to the values that unite us: freedom, perseverance, and service.

As a community with deep military roots, the Coastal Bend is proud to be home to multiple military installations, and the historic USS Lexington. This year’s patriotic design celebrates both our nation’s semiquincentennial and the local heroes who help protect it every day.
Jersey Order Deadline: August 13, 2026.

To help ensure every rider receives the size they ordered, T-shirt and jersey sizes cannot be exchanged at packet pickup. We appreciate your understanding, as apparel is ordered in advance based on participant selections and limited quantities are available.

Registration fees are non-refundable, even in the case of weather delay/cancelations. If you are unable to participate, you may defer your ride to 2027 by emailing ConquertheCoastCC@gmail.com.
Please note, ride defers are only available to those who communicate PRIOR to the event date. 2027 deferments will not be honored after the ride date.
What are the time cutoffs for the “66” Mile Ride?
For the safety of all riders and to comply with road closures, “66” mile participants must reach designated checkpoints by specific times. *Subject to change, final confirmed cutoff times will be provided to you in your packet & pre-event rider email.
Checkpoint deadlines:

- Board the Ferry: 10:30am
- NASCC Entry: 1:15pm
If you do not meet the Mesquite & Power St. deadline, Police will not allow you to continue over the Harbor Bridge and will direct you to the 21 mile route. If you do not meet the NASCC deadline, you will be shuttled to the Start/Finish line by SAG drivers.
Do I need anything special to enter the Naval Air Station (NASCC)?
“66” riders entering NASCC must wear the Conquer the Coast Bib on their body and follow all military base security requirements.
- Hydration packs/CamelBaks are allowed. If you wear one on your back, your rider bib must be displayed on the front of your jersey.
- Standard backpacks are not permitted on NAS Corpus Christi.
