Leadership Corpus Christi (LCC) is a premier leadership development program designed to engage and educate emerging community leaders. Through a comprehensive curriculum that includes training sessions, community projects, and networking opportunities, participants gain a deeper understanding of the challenges and opportunities within the Corpus Christi area. The program emphasizes the principles of servant leadership, community trusteeship, and civic responsibility, equipping graduates to take on active roles in shaping the future of the region

As we embark on the planning for Leadership Corpus Christi Class 53, we want to introduce you to the Steering Committee responsible for shaping the next “Best Class Ever.”

SteerCom53 recently had the incredible opportunity to learn from Amy Rhoads Granberry (LCC 40), Chair of the United Corpus Christi Chamber of Commerce Foundation, and Carol Scott, Del Mar College Regent (LCC 16; General Chair 23; Distinguished Alumnus 2024), Chair of the LCC Advisory Committee, during a training session at La Palmera. Their insights into our program’s history and the core concepts of servant leadership and community trusteeship were invaluable.

As we prepare to welcome the participants of Leadership Corpus Christi Class 53, we are excited to introduce a dynamic group of individuals poised to become the future leaders of our community. These participants, selected for their commitment to civic engagement and passion for making a difference, will embark on a transformative journey of personal and professional growth. Throughout the year, they will engage in hands-on learning experiences, gain invaluable insights from community leaders, and develop the skills necessary to drive positive change in Corpus Christi.     1. Lisa, Leadership Corpus Christi Class participants are be selected by an anonymous selection committee. The committee is designed to be a representative cross section of the Corpus Christi community. To maintain objectivity and prevent outside influence, the committee remain anonymous.

      The selection committee is charged with forming a class that represents a reasonable cross section of the backgrounds, interests, and business and civic ties of the Corpus Christi community. To maximize objectivity, the first page of the personal data is omitted from this phase of the selection process. Selection Committee members do not see or know the names or personal data of applicants when scoring responses.
