Meet Our Speaker: Dolly Gonzales Trolley

We are thrilled to introduce the guest speaker for our upcoming Membership Networking Luncheon this Thursday: CCISD School Board Trustee Dolly Gonzales Trolley!

Dolly is a passionate public servant, a seasoned advocate, and a champion for public education across Corpus Christi and the Coastal Bend region.

Dedicated Champion for Corpus Christi ISD

Since 2021, Dolly has served on the Corpus Christi ISD School Board, bringing her extensive background in advocacy and strategic leadership directly to our local schools. As a mother of two children attending CCISD schools, her work on the board is deeply personal.

Her passion is rooted in ensuring that quality, high level education is accessible to every single student in our district. She is particularly enthusiastic about advocating for our special needs student population, ensuring they receive the resources, inclusion, and tailored educational support needed to thrive both in the classroom and throughout our broader community.

Her school board leadership and community education efforts include:

Parent Involvement: Active participation in the PTA, directly supporting teachers, staff, and families within the CCISD community.

Board Service: Active leadership on the CCISD School Board since 2021, helping guide policy and support district success.

Special Needs Advocacy: Direct engagement and volunteerism with organizations like Special Olympics, the Corpus Christi Miracle League, and local special education initiatives.

25 Years of Strategic Leadership and Advocacy

Dolly brings a wealth of professional expertise to her role with CCISD. For twenty five years, she has worked as a political, fundraising, and advocacy consultant. Throughout her career in Austin, Houston, and now Corpus Christi, she has built strong professional relationships with local and statewide elected officials, professional associations, and trade groups.

In addition to her work with CCISD, Dolly serves on the board of Amistad Community Health Center and volunteers with organizations including the Texas Medical Alliance, Nueces County Medical Alliance, American Heart Association, and March of Dimes.

Dolly earned her Bachelor of Science degree with a double major in Communications and Political Science from Stephen F. Austin State University. She and her husband, Greg, reside in Corpus Christi with their two children, ages 13 and 15, and are members of St. Patrick’s Church.

Join Us This Thursday!
