We are thrilled to share that our very own Gloria Fuentes, Vice President of Member Engagement, has been selected to join Leadership Corpus Christi Class 54!

Leadership Corpus Christi is the region’s premier leadership development program, cultivating community leaders through immersive learning, civic engagement, and impactful networking. Each year, a select group of individuals is chosen to participate in this transformative experience, and we are proud to see Gloria among them.

Gloria has been a valued member of the Chamber team since 2015, bringing nearly a decade of dedication, heart, and professionalism to our mission. She began her journey with us as Executive Assistant to the President/CEO, where she became known for her reliability, attention to detail, and team-first attitude. In 2024, she took on the challenge of a new role as VP of Member Engagement, where she now leads with empathy, energy, and a deep commitment to serving our members.

But it’s not just her work ethic that sets her apart, Gloria’s positive attitude, bright spirit, and genuine joy for helping others have made her a true cornerstone of our team. Whether she’s welcoming a new face to the Chamber, or connecting with long standing members, she brings warmth and enthusiasm that uplifts everyone around her.

Since 2023, Gloria also has been enrolled in the Institute for Organizational Management (IOM), a four-year professional development program offered by the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. Through this certification, she is gaining advanced training in organizational leadership, strategic planning, and nonprofit management.

Joining Class 54 is a well-deserved recognition of Gloria’s leadership and impact, not just within our organization, but throughout the community she deeply cares about. We can’t wait to see how this experience inspires her next chapter.
