We are thrilled to announce that Jessica Furdock, Chief Marketing Officer of the United Corpus Christi Chamber of Commerce and coordinator of the annual Conquer the Coast Bike Ride (CTC), has been named a Top 3 Finalist for “Sports Partner of the Year” at Visit Corpus Christi’s State of Tourism event on November 20, 2025!

Since its inaugural ride in 2004, CTC has grown into one of the Coastal Bend’s most celebrated sporting events, drawing thousands of cyclists each year and putting Corpus Christi on the map as a premier destination for fitness, tourism, and community engagement. At the heart of this success is Jessica; whose leadership, creativity, and dedication have elevated the event to new heights.

Under her guidance, along with a dedicated volunteer leadership committee, participation has increased 20% each year for three years straight, attracting riders of all skill levels, from first-time cyclists to elite athletes, as well as visitors from across Texas and beyond.

Jessica understands that CTC is more than a ride, it’s an economic driver and a unifying community experience, with 70-75% of riders coming from out of town. Thanks to her leadership in the committee, this event has generated millions in tourism revenue, filled hotels and restaurants, and given local businesses valuable exposure. Her vision and commitment to CTC exemplifies what it means to be a true sports partner in showcasing Corpus Christi’s scenic coastline and culture to thousands of visitors, and we are so proud to see her recognized as a finalist for this award.
