The United Corpus Christi Chamber of Commerce is rolling out its March Madness Madness Tournament, and it’s already proving to be an exciting, competitive event that’s pushing our business community forward. This year, our incredible Ambassadors are stepping up to the challenge, going above and beyond to show what true leadership looks like in action. Whether it’s competing for points or making a lasting impact on the community, these Ambassadors are demonstrating that success comes from both collaboration and dedication.

What’s the March Madness Tournament All About?
Our Ambassadors are leading the charge in this fun, competitive tournament that rewards engagement and impact within the Chamber. But you don’t have to be an Ambassador to get involved—just bring a guest to the mixer and start making connections!

Key Tournament Details:
Ambassadors will earn points for their participation in a range of activities that support the Chamber’s goals and initiatives. Here’s a quick look at how they can rack up points:
(3-5 Points): Volunteer at a Chamber event (points based on hours; weekdays = 3pts/hr, weekends = 5pts/hr)
(1 Point): Like a Chamber post on Facebook, Instagram, or LinkedIn
(3 Points): Share a Chamber social media post (must tag the Chamber) on Facebook, Instagram, or LinkedIn
(3 Points): Attend Chamber 101
(5 Points): Attend a ribbon cutting ceremony
(10 Points): Attend the quarterly networking mixer after hours (must register)
(3 Points): Bring a potential non-member to a networking event (must register)
(3 Points): Share business contact information for a potential new member with Gloria
(10 Points): Referral becomes a member
(10 Points): Recruit a Committed Ambassador
(10 Points): Drop off plaque with photo of new member and plaque (digital business cards for new businesses)
Tournament will be based on 4 rounds of competition with the following dates/deadlines
- Round 1: February 17th – 28th
- Sweet 16: March 1st – 15th (noted in bold above)
- Elite 8: March 16th – 23rd
- Final 4: March 24th – 31st
Prizes:
Grand Prize Winner will receive choice of a $500 gift card or Individual Ticket to all Signature Events
Standout performances during the tournament will be noted for those that make the Sweet 16, Elite 8, & Final 4.
