The United Corpus Christi Chamber of Commerce is proud to honor the Coastal Bend Texas Delegation as our Community Partner of the Year at the United Chamber Awards Gala. This award recognizes a valued community partner whose collaboration and support advance the Chamber’s mission. The Coastal Bend Texas Delegation continues to work alongside the Chamber to strengthen our business community, foster meaningful connections, and create lasting impact across the Coastal Bend. The delegation includes Senator Juan “Chuy” Hinojosa of District 20, Senator Adam Hinojosa of District 27, Texas State Representative Todd Hunter of District 32, Texas State Representative Denise Villalobos of District 34, and Texas State Representative JM Lozano of District 43. Together, they provide steady leadership and a shared commitment to serving the people, employers, and communities of South Texas.

Advancing Policies That Support Business and Growth

This year, members of the delegation are actively involved in key legislative priorities that align with the Chamber’s advocacy work. They support measures that strengthen local economic infrastructure and investment, including legislation that enhances water planning, tourism related project financing, and major TWIA reforms, all of which are critical priorities for sustainable growth in the Coastal Bend.

Continuing the Celebration at the United Chamber Awards Gala
The celebration continues at the United Corpus Christi Chamber Awards Gala on January 29 at the Omni Hotel in Corpus Christi. This evening brings together business and community leaders to recognize those whose leadership and service are shaping the future of our region.

During the gala, the Chamber will honor recipients of the Henry Baldwin Award, the Dora Cervera Mirabal Award, the United Business Hall of Fame, and the Community Partner of the Year Award. It is a night dedicated to recognizing legacy, innovation, and the individuals and organizations making a lasting impact across the Coastal Bend.
