Every autumn, our Coastal Bend community demonstrates what happens when neighbors unite behind a shared purpose. Through quiet acts of generosity and widespread collective action, donors from across our seven-county region continue to lift up the vital organizations that sustain us all.

Last year’s event was nothing short of historic. More than 8,400 donors rallied together to raise over $4.53 million for 63 local nonprofits. Since its founding in 2009, Coastal Bend Day of Giving has generated more than $41.1 million in funding. These dollars translate directly into warm meals, youth enrichment, emergency shelter, health services, and educational programs that keep our region resilient.

Doubling Down on Community Impact

The 18th annual Coastal Bend Day of Giving officially kicks off at midnight on Tuesday, November 10, 2026. For 24 hours, gifts made through the platform will go twice as far.

• Dollar-for-Dollar Matching: Donations to 65 participating nonprofits will be matched up to $27,000 per organization.
• $1.7 Million Matching Pool: Made possible by 22 generous lead donors and foundations, these matching funds ensure every dollar you contribute carries double the purchasing power.
• Every Dollar Counts: With a low minimum donation requirement, anyone can become an active philanthropist and make a direct difference in their neighborhood.

Whether your passion lies in hunger relief, animal welfare, child advocacy, or community health, every participating organization addresses front line needs throughout Aransas, Bee, Jim Wells, Kleberg, Nueces, Refugio, and San Patricio counties.

Beat the Clock: Early Giving Opens November 2

You don’t have to wait until November 10 to participate. Early Giving runs from November 2 through November 9, and every donation submitted during this window is fully eligible for the dollar-for-dollar match.

Giving early is a simple way to cross philanthropy off your to-do list while ensuring your chosen nonprofits hit their match limits as soon as the campaign goes live.
